VIP Car Insurance (“VIP Car Insurance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website as a free car insurance comparison service. We are not an insurance company, we do not issue policies, and we do not sell insurance directly. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you provide
The only information this site asks you for directly is a five-digit ZIP code, entered in the rate-comparison form on the homepage and elsewhere on the site. When you submit it, we don’t store it on our servers — it’s passed as part of the URL to our quote partner’s site, which opens in a new tab, so that partner can show rates for your area. If you continue on to request actual quotes on that site, you’ll be asked for more information there (name, contact details, vehicle and driving history) under that site’s own privacy policy — not this one.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect some information through cookies and similar technologies when you browse this site, including:
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen size, and device type.
- Usage information — pages you view, links you click, how long you spend on a page, and the site or search engine that referred you here.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address, generally accurate to the city or region, not your precise location.
We use Google Tag Manager to deploy analytics tags on the site. Those tags may set cookies and collect the information described above on behalf of Google Analytics and, if we run advertising campaigns, advertising measurement tools. We don’t use anything you submit on this site to make decisions about your insurance eligibility or rates — we don’t issue policies or set rates. Insurers and agents make those decisions independently, based on what you tell them directly on their own sites or by phone.
How we share information
- Our quote partner. If you use the rate-comparison form, the ZIP code you enter is shared with our quote partner as part of the link that opens their site.
- Service providers. Vendors who host this site, deploy analytics tags, or otherwise help us run the site, bound by contract to use information only to provide those services.
- Legal and safety reasons. If required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe it’s necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of VIP Car Insurance, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Cookies and your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
